Jurgen just sent me a video of his latest creation - a neon bar graph audio VU meter. This device is powered from a 12V DC wall power adapter or from 2x USB ports because of the 1A current draw. It uses a logarithmic display from -20 dB to +10 dB. The enclosure will look like the NixieTherm or the headphone amp that is currently in production.

But I would guess, that all electronic components, board, power supply, tubes, enclosure etc. needed to build the circuit, are not for free
Correct, but Tube Clock Database has become more of a market place than anything else. I think more earlier designs need a place here too.
It is much the same with many other "new designs" found here. In my opinion there should be a separate page for marketing and testing of new designs and another page for older designs, like a database of designs should be.
I think that would add another dimension to this webpage, but I realise that searching for older designs take a lot of time and might not be the focus of this webpage.
I myself visit this page less often now that it has become this "marketing place" - there is unfortunately seldom any news here!
I think it was a much better place when it started!
I like your use of the IN-9, as these were often ignored in favor of the IN-13. And they were priced accordingly
FWIW, just ignore the troll.
