IN-12 Nixie Clock Kit

Here is a nice IN-12 Nixie clock that is sold as a kit or may be purchased fully assembled for 40 € more. One neat feature about this clock is that the tubes are backbit with color changing LED's that can be programmed for a specific color or allowed to fade between colors.  (The back light brightness is adjustable.)  For the time display, several modes are included: scrolling date, display fading, and digit cycling in.

If anyone gets one, please leave a note in the comments!

I purchased two of the IN-12 Manuela clocks and just completed assembly of the first kit.
This is an excellent kit! This kit has changed my idea of the upside down "5" IN-12 tube and its difficulity to case.
The kit is as good or better than the pictures!
I have assembled kits from several kit makers and I give this one an A++.
I ordered the RGB leds and the ability to turn them off or adjust the intensity is perfect depending on what I want to watch at any time. And the ability to turn off the display when not at home to save tube life is a feature I always look for.
The cathode poisoning prevention is excellent "eye candy" and I love it!
This is an excellent clock that uses a tube that is still readily available.

IMO, this clock is worth every cent! I would buy it again!...and again :-)

Thanks for this site Brian! Super!

I had purchased one of this clock too. The designed was one of the best. With the RGB LED in the background; it is even better. It brings the clock into the next level. Very beautiful! I will keep it as long as it last.

Excellent kit! Quality is also very good. My only criticism is the manual which, although complete, can be confusing. Jurgen has provided tremendous support in my effort to complete. A word of caution: make sure you have the correct type of soldering iron, i.e., small enough to assemble parts on the PCB. Removal of any components after soldering is close to impossible.
