and if you don't have solder braid, multi-strand house wires do a good job, but you'll definitely need the flux.

I have finished the build. I have connected the clock to my WiFi and can see the clock's web page. But when I try to go to any page but Summary it asks for a password.

What is the user and password for the web pages?

Try these:

User = admin
Pass = setup

User = admin
Pass = update

Those are educated guesses because I don't have access to the source code for that particular kit. If they don't work you'll have to wait for Ian to drop in.

Look into it later when the dust is clearing off the crater.

Thanks the first one worked.

I am now set up for my country.
But I am still getting only 3 dots next to each other. They are blinking but do not more. Also on start up there is no spin. It goes straight to the three dots.

What do I need to do to troubleshoot this?

I would suggest you build an external spinner circuit first to check if your tube is 100% ok. Although these A-101 tubes are tough, there still might be a problem inside the tube; the discharge has to 'jump' from one electrode to the next.
With a spinner circuit you can check if the all dots are ok, and if the tube is ok.
I have a circuit diagram that you can connect to Ian's PCB where the A-101 is now soldered on. It is handwritten, but if you want I can make a decent circuit diagram for you and post it here. It uses junk resistors, cap's and diodes that you hopefully have somewhere available in a drawer.
