Just to follow up on this: I talked to the guy, and he wanted €1000 each. That was too much for me, so I just let it be.

Unfortunately the guy didn't sell them to me.
However, someone in the Check Republic is starting up production of these tubes again. I have ordered the first 6 that he makes. They are due to start production in 2020.
The tubes will be much cheaper than the originals, and guaranteed.
