I found the tube's wires broke easily, I ruined 2 of my 1st set of 6 tubes, while installing them in my clock. I also had a 3rd tube fail within a few days (gas seal broken?)

so yes.. I'm thinking it's a good idea to have spares available :)

Any news on new thyratrone clocks?

I was thinking of building a new clock.. might be fun to build another thyratrone.

I did just recently fire up my judge ITS-1A clock again. It seems like one thyratron has a burning orange looking place inside the back of the tube... I may need to replace that one. I only have spare ITS-1B's... I wonder if mixing and matching them would be problem? Paul aka Judge any idea if that's doable or not?

I wanna build your single tube clock too. I've been trying to figure out exactly what I really need to order from OSHpark and stuff... it's a journey.
