I've gotten my Nixie driver board working with my B7971 boards. Also, the bluetooth option works.

Congratulations! It looks like your product is moving along quickly. How does one send data to the display? It is just a serial console over bluetooth?

That is correct; Under M$FT, the RN41BT on the driver board will appear on the PC as a COM port. You can then open it using microterm or whatever. I already have a little an exe on the PC which will let you send it cmds. That's pretty much accessible from any language. I might do a few fancier things w/Perl as that is my second language after English.

Just thinking out loud here. But all that nice space under the tubes it seems that something more here would be cool. Like a memopad or something. Then I thought how cool to have a color LCD there where you could have a photo frame there, or a stock ticker, email notifyer. Just thinking...

Also with the nice wood cover it looks like your clock would be a nice addition in the Levenger catalog :) www.levenger.com/
