Material is MDF laminated with natural cherry veneer

Fasteners are 4-40 socket-head screws

If you have a Mac OS machine, I could
use a little help;

I've been writing the user doc for my clock. I do not have a Mac OS machine and I need to write a few sentences about installing the FTDI Serial Driver and running a terminal emulator on an Apple.

Attached is the section of the manual. Basically, I need to write the equivalent of the "Setting up the USB Interface on a PC" section, but for Mac OS X.

I figure there's someone out there who has this in their head; It only needs to be a few sentences;

It looks like all of the OSX software you need is here:

www.ftdichip.com/FTDrivers.htm

Once installed, it should create these two entries:

/dev/cu.usbserial-xxxxxxxx
/dev/tty.usbserial-xxxxxxxx

Connecting via a terminal I believe is just:
$ screen /dev/tty......
