Hi, what are you guys using for the dots in your nixie clock?
Im now testing with ins1 neon bulbs, but they have problems with igniting, sometimes they ignite on the back. Are there other bulbs to considder or are there ledds with the same color as the IN12 tube?

I've used good old NE-2 neon bulbs or IN-3's. Just test them beforehand to make sure they don't flicker (some NE-2's do this for some reason). The IN-3's can be a little erratic at times (ignite on the back, like the IN-1's), but I think that's part of the charm....
Cheers,
Nick

The Sven clock I built had
TX5-B Thyratron Bulbs
They look very cool... If you could use them I would strongly suggest using them!
