Update:

Starting a Kickstart project is a little more involved than I thought, but is coming along.

I have updated my web page, which now shows pictures of my proto board.

www.coldwarcreations.com/microboard/microboard.html

I will post updates at least once a week.

Just wanted to know more about the colons

"* User programmable Colons, on steady, flashing once a second, or off."

Meaning flashes every second ? Does it dim in & out (pulsate) ?

I prefer pulsating colons on - off - on ( 3 sec interval)

Anyway thanks for the update ^^

I am working on a pulsing colon, but still being developed. I only list options that I have working. Once it works, I'll add it to the features list.

The GPS option should work with most the GPS's I have looked at, my board will default to 9600 baud, with a user changeable rate.

I plan on at least a 5870 tube board, and a IN-17 tube board, with room for the Adafruit GPS.

nice pictures! can not wait to see the finished project.

anyway, about the colons, one very simple *mode* is when you have the two colons altering (on 6 dogot clocks ofc) like you have left on for 1s, then righ on for 1s.

the advantage is that this way you get constant ambient light :) too bad almost no clocks have this feature.
