Those tubes you mentioned are relatively big. I though it would be rather suitable for something like ZM1120 or IN-17

Yes, that makes sense. I do have a IN-17 board developed, I will probably have that one out first, along with the 5750 (I typed in the wrong tube number, not sure what a 5870 would be!)

The other boards are for projects I have, and I would offer these boards for sale, too.

Update - the micro board is pretty much complete (a little bit of software work is remaining for the GPS option).

Trouble is, I don't have enough capital to build a run of boards, so I'm thinking of doing a Kick Start program for around 200 boards.

The Kick Start website details how this works:
www.kickstarter.com/hello?ref=nav

I'm thinking of having these options ("rewards" per Kick Starter):
1. Board with connectors installed, $49.95
2. Board with connectors installed and GPS option, $59.95
3. Board with daughter card for ?? (IN-17/5870/other)? Not sure on price yet... With or without tubes.
4. Other options??

Any thoughts?

I think given the recent success of the arduino based nixie tube clock, that you should have success with a kickstarter. I'd pledge for sure.

I'd add a kit option to the pledges too..

I would pledge money for a kit.. I think $60 with connectors and GPS option is a good price (would that include the GPS chip?)

if you do a kick start, I'll pledge for at least one kit :)
