Help requested about display

Hello, I'm a newbie in this forum so please correct my post if I'm not respecting forum rules.

I'm trying to find out more a specific gas discharge display.


It's the Philips / Valvo ZM-1551 display as displayed here

Hope you can help of give me some directions on where to further my search or exact parts in which these might have been used.

I think you might have already found the best resource that I know of. Wat other information were you looking for? As far as I can tell, these were possibly used in calculators - this would be the leftmost display with two-digit full 7 seven segment displays to the right. (May also have been used in clocks.)

I'll keep looking but I'm not finding much else.

Hi stuckey, thanks for the reply i'm looking for one for a custom project so my aim is to find à piece of equipment or reference so i can locate it. Calculators of test equipment have been checked for some time but no luck in this piece though. Thanks for the possible leads boardmembers might have, feel free to pm me.

In this hobby it's better to locate a display and then think about what you can do with it. Finding a specific part can sometimes be impossible.
