My fantastic nixie clock with 6 Chinese QS18-12 tubes(made in 1975-1984).
Gold plating PCB art, see the pictures.
Infrared remote control.
RGB LED backlight, All SMD Components.

Feature list:

1. tube height 45mm, diameter 18mm, base size: 195mm x 70mm x 25mm;

2. GPS date and time adjustment;

3. gold plating PCB art;

4. acrylic case with laser cut;

5. fixing by 8pcs socket head cap screw(stainless steel);

6. all function use infared remote control;

7. 12/24H mode;

8. date in configuration MM.DD.YY or YY.MM.DD;

9. cross fading: different modes to fade the digits from one number to the next or to be switched off;

10. two alarms clock, can be enabled or disabled each;

11. input voltage from 12 volts DC, wall power adapter for worldwide use is included;

12. time is batter buffered when no line power is available, battery will last for more than 5 years;

13. user settings are always stored(12/24h mode, alarms, etc...);

14. switchable bottom lighting by RGB LEDs;

15. high accuracy temperature-compensated RTC with 5 seconds/month accuracy;

16. temperature test, degree Celsius and Fahrenheit(For guidance only);

Yes, Brian, this layout is absolutely awesome. But unfortunately you can do such art only with non wired parts - SMD.
My layout program is not able to draw such wonderful tracks but I can import DXF files as tracks (of course, these "tracks" will not have any electrical connection for the software) but with this "trick" it is able to do similar things.
Normally this feature is only used to import your logo as silk screen ;)

I will try this feature at my Magic Eye VU meter to import my Mr.Nixie logo - as silkscreen of course.
I hope that I can finish the board this night. Than I will post it in the threat - incl. logo, hopefully.
Have you just seen, how many different tubes you can use with that circuity without to need any soldering?
