After trying several attempts it now returns the error "unable to get ip address" when attempting to connect to the nixie wifi module

I'm not ignoring you. I just don't know what to tell you because it seems like you are doing everything right. I'm hoping Ian will jump back in with something I haven't thought of.
Look into it later when the dust is clearing off the crater.

The meanings are:
Rapid flash, mostly OFF: waiting for configuration
Rapid flash, mostly ON: Have WiFi but could not find the NTP server
One quick flash per second: working normally
Alex, while we are talking about the blue LED, I think you said it flashes. But does it flash very evenly or does it occasionally "stutter" like in this video:
VIDEO LINK
I have an issue with the Wi-Fi module where it's blinking like in this video.
I can connect to the module when it is in AP mode and setup my network settings, but when it's connected to my Wi-Fi it is unreachable (the ip adress assigned to it) and it starts to blink in the pattern from the video.
I tried pinging it and typically I get 75% loss.
I programmed it myself and I suspect there might be a discrepancy in my libraries or settings, so if anyone could provide a precompiled vx58 firmware that would be great.

My aim is always to have the version well documented here:
www.nixieclock.biz/Downloads/WiFiTimepro...uctionManualVx58.pdf
On page 11 of that doc, we have the status flashes described. I'd be happy if there are problems in the doc that people feed back to me where they are - this is the master reference.
I think this module is rebooting over and over and that is why you can't get a stable connection.
I have had a couple of modules do this from the previous batch of 100. When I test them at flashing time, they work, but I suppose that the postage has plenty of opportunities for damage on the way.
I *think* I already sent a replacement, but if I didn't I will. Just let me know.
