Hi all, i received my kit a few days ago and its now up and running. The only issue is it wont allow me to connect to the wifi to configure anything.

I can see the ssid "Nixie" and when trying to connect using the password "SetMeUp!" It returns the message saying "cannot connect to this network" ive tried multiple devices including my phone (samsung and iphone) laptops (windows and apple) but it keeps returning this message.

Sometimes when connecting it also says that the password is incorrect, when i know im trying the correct password.

Any help id appreciate it, thank you, Alex S

Has anything changed in the days since you posted this? I can't see anything wrong with what you are doing so I don't really know what to suggest. Just to be sure, you do realize the quotes (") are not part of the password, right?

Is the blue light on all the time, or does it flash rapidly?

The meanings are:
Rapid flash, mostly OFF: waiting for configuration
Rapid flash, mostly ON: Have WiFi but could not find the NTP server
One quick flash per second: working normally

Amongst the photos above he wrote "Repeated blue flashing fast" which I took to mean that the ESP is in access point mode.

Alex, while we are talking about the blue LED, I think you said it flashes. But does it flash very evenly or does it occasionally "stutter" like in this video:
