Wifi IPV6 was created by _hagenaar
Hello,

I just finished the construction of the clock. When I try to connect to the Nixie SSID I get a IP v6 address but not a v4 (even when i disable the ip v6 in the windows adapter settings) Is there a standard ip v6 address as well? or is there something else i can try?

MOVED to the kit support forum.

I have never seen this happen. Can you try connecting with a phone or other non-windows device to see what it does?

Look into it later when the dust is clearing off the crater.

I'm trying to reproduce the problem on one of my clocks. So far no luck.

When you try to connect from your phone what exactly happens? Does it ask for a password to join the network? Do you get a message popping up saying something like "Unable to connect to network NixieClockTimeModule"? You said it doesn't give you an IPv4 when using the phone but does it give you an IPv6?

Look into it later when the dust is clearing off the crater.

Didn't see your second post. So it gives you an IPv6 when you use your iPhone? Could you maybe forcibly override it by going into the screen tha tshows you the IP adderss and change Configure IP to manual? Your IP - 192.168.4.2, Subnet - 255.255.255.0, Router IP - 192.168.4.1 The manually point Safari to 192.168.4.1

Look into it later when the dust is clearing off the crater.
