I have problems with assembling the nixie arduino kit. There is no high voltage. I'm not that well educated in electronics so I honestly have no clue where to search for the problem. I think there is no issue with my soldering. Everything looks nice. The 104 capacitor looked a bit damaged (little crack in it) so I replaced it with another capacitor (104k). That didn't solve the problem.
I use a 12v 2A power adapter.
Could you guys help me in the right direction with this?
This may sound like a dumb question but you'd be surprised how often it happens... Have you loaded the correct program into the Uno? If so, do the RGB LEDs on the clock board do anything when you power up?
I don't see anything obviously wrong in the pictures. If all your solder joints look as good as the ones I can see on the pin headers then I don't think there is any problem with soldering.
Look into it later when the dust is clearing off the crater.
