Hello
I have a problem with the classic Rev6 card.
After a few minutes, she stops. IRF840 becomes burning.
the 5V drops to 4V.
I tried to change the mosfet and the induction, it does not change anything.
I tried different power supplies. 9V 1A, 9V 500mah, 12V 1A ...
This is the first time I did a Rev6, I already built 2 Rev4.

Please clarify: have you successfully gotten out of Test Mode and through the HV Calibration routine? Or IOW when it gets hot and shuts down is it displaying the time or is it just counting?

Look into it later when the dust is clearing off the crater.

I'm out of the test mode, the clock shows the time for about 2 minutes and goes off or reboot times.

I noticed that before stopping, the clock flashes, the mosfet and cold.
The 5V drops to 4V, and there the mosfet (irf740) becomes hot.

Can you report the version? It is probably 0653. It is shown for 1 second at startup.

OK; very good, that is totally up to date.

Could you run the test again and measure the HIGH voltage?

Are tubes connected?

If tubes are connected, do they show any difference before the problem happens?
