Description

Nice Working 70's Nixie Clock

Home made by Westinghouse engineer in the 1970's. Plugged it in and viola, it works. Tells time and counts seconds. I can push black button to stop time and the fast and slow buttons advance the time to set it properly. The knob adjusts brightness and it also works. IN SHORT: EVERYTHING WORKS! Even the AM and PM indicators work. There is a slot for an internal battery but there is none, yet everything works properly, it must be for backup when AC goes out.

Contains six NEC CD66 Nixie Tubes, said to be very rare and highly desired for their gracious lines, curves and font.

This item is near 40 years old and is fragile. 30 day warranty will apply to description and doa only.
