Not forgetting that it could be the microwave module itself that is sensitive.

These things run on the blackest of black magic, and perhaps they didn't sacrifice enough virgins for some of the batches or something like that. Maybe the moon was in the wrong phase.

Couldn't find any more virgins, substituted goats. That'll mess things up every time. :evil:

this explains the issues i'm having then. although if im honest i couldn't get my PIR working properly either.........
just showed constant detection.

Hi Wim,

thank you for your explanation of the RCWL-0516 module.
I built 2 PCBs with Ian, once for IN-18 and once for Z566M as processor, a Wemos D1 mini is used.

The phenomenon is that the two PCBs are identical in terms of hardware and software apart from the use of the RCWL-0516 module. With the variant IN-18 it works with the standard variant (5V without 10kOhm OUT-GND) only with the variant Z566M your modification must be applied so that the RCWL-0516 module works (12V and 10kOhm on OUT-GND)
