Subject: IN-1 Nixie clock - by: che.gustavo http://www.tubeclockdb.com/forum/Builders-Forum/2955-IN-1-Nixie-clock.html#2955 http://www.tubeclockdb.com/forum/Builders-Forum/2955-IN-1-Nixie-clock.html#2955
I am new to the nixie clock thing. I already built one, although I am not knowledgeable in electronics, I am totally hooked.
I want to build my second clock, and I've purchased some IN-1 tubes (I thought they look neat, so I got them). Does anyone have a spare PCB with the parts list willing to sale? I have 5 used Burroughs B5750 that I could trade (they all work fine, they came out of a Monsanto counter).
My other question: I have a PCB for a 6 IN-12 clock and I was thinking if it's possible to use the IN-1's instead (the IN-12 have 12 pins, the the IN-1's have 11. I believe that pin 12 is the decimal point)?

Sorry if my posting is too silly.

Subject: Nixie Watch 2 tubes versus 4 tubes - by: cobra007 http://www.tubeclockdb.com/forum/Builders-Forum/2943-Nixie-Watch-2-tubes-versus-4-tubes.html#2943 http://www.tubeclockdb.com/forum/Builders-Forum/2943-Nixie-Watch-2-tubes-versus-4-tubes.html#2943
Suppose you could choose between:
1) The two tubed Kopriso nixie watch as in one of the previous threads (50mm dial and 16.5mm thick)
2) A four tubed nixie watch which would be rectangular (approx 58x49x18, or approx 60x42x18, not sure yet which one of the 2 it will be).

Suppose that the performance of the two watches is identical. What would then be your preference?

Best regards,
Michel]]>
