We are offering a limited quantity of a rare Telechron clock module with a very unusual mechanical display. The segments consist of a series of sliding shutters which are driven by a cam system. During the digit transition, it displays all sorts of interesting non-characters that make it look like it's trying to dial Stargate coordinates. The clock uses a typical Telechron rotor which runs on normal 120VAC@60Hz line current. The incandescent backlight has independent power connections and seems to do okay at 6V.
Here's a video of the digit transition, first at normal speed, then at 1/2 speed and 1/5 speed.
