They are very hard to find and quite large... by far the largest minitron display I have ever seen. Does anyone even know what the largest minitron is? Wamco makes the KW-615, which is the same size as the FFD21, but it is just as hard to find.
I am glad that Neonixie is finally being indexed by Google, there is a lot of good information in there, and it definitely helps when searching for information on some oddball part. Now if only Google could magically give AJ full admin privileges!
Well here's hoping I get to win a tube. Good luck with the site. I have a project on that go you can feature if you wish.
I had the devil's own job of registering with this site. I know I was a member before, but it refused my old saved login, refused to send me the password, saying the old email was invalid, not true and not allowing me to re-register because it kept saying my two typed passwords did not match.
@whoopjohn - What happened was that you registered with talk.tubeclockdb.com. That wasn't actually connected to the main site and so when I took that offline, I your login info was deleted as well. Sorry about that!
Not to be selfish, but I hope I win! And this forum is just what I need...another place to spent money. I have a software background (QA) and can build a kit like nobodys business. But still trying to learn enough to design something that works. I also build "enclosures" for the clock kits I build out of exotic hardwoods. I can't, usually, get shocked by a piece of wood.
