A build with IN-1 tubes.
Ian's Classic Nixie Clock. Since picture was taken (with DS3231 RTC) it's now running of a ESP8266 module.

I don't like the nixie tubes being mixed with color LED's so the top lid is made of opal plexi.

Love that slim form factor with those tubes.

Here's another one that I particularly like. I don't fully remember who sent it to me:

hi there,

this is my first clock, build from the classic clock set with IN12B, IN-17 and a broken Sankyo 101 flipclock. the nixie-layout i was seen in the net at the "Lena"-clock by Mr. Nixie. it was the only way to get the whole digits into this case and looks as it "must be".

I named this clock "mikrobishi", cause the bulbs see from side like the "Mikrobi"-robot-head (hero of my childhood) and while the case comes from japan, my first association was "Mitsubishi" ... so the name was created (i'm a nerd, i know).

the last pic shows the Mikrobishi with my new project "Bioshock", my new child of sorrow (see the other topic of me). when its finished, i will set the pics in here.

regads, Sven

Hi again,

thx to Ty_ for resizing my images ^^

Here the other ones is still finished: i named it "Bioshock", i was inspired by this game and some Dieselpunk-pics and Art Deco-shapes.

This clock was made of an old russian amperemeter, using IN-14 tubes as digits and INS-1 bulbs as separators with the "Classic Nixie Clock" set of Ian. Also it has a auto-dimm via ldr and a manual-dimm via the adjusting wheel at the front of the case for night-time illumination ;)
